在葡萄牙的阿连特茹地区，Esporão集团即将推出其旗舰酒款Torre do Esporão的第四代年份——2017。这种特别的年份仅限于少量生产，每一瓶从2022年10月起就开始销售（建议零售价为300美元）。这标志着Torre do Esporão自2004、2007和2011年的三次版本后，再次展现了其独特性和酿酒师专业知识。Torre do Esporão代表了Esporão以负责任和鼓舞人心的方式，追求大自然提供最好的葡萄酒这一理念。这款红葡萄酒通过混合来自五个葡萄园四种品种（40% Aragonez、30% Touriga Franca、25% Alicante Bouschet、5% Touriga Nacional）的水果，体现了从力量到精致的演变。

它得名于位于阿连特茹Reguengos de Monsaraz分区Herdade do Esporão的大型中世纪塔楼。而2017年的水果则来自五个独立的葡萄园，其中三个位于Herdade do Esporão：Canto de Zé Cruz于1980年种植Aragonez；Rochedo于2005年种植Touriga Franca；Badeco则是1988年种植Touriga Nacional，一可能是阿连特茹现存最古老的Touriga Nacional葡萄园。

剩下的两个葡萄园分别是Palmeiras与Machuguinho，它们都产出了Alicante Bouschet。"Tower is what it's all about when everything goes as planned," says Joao Roquette, CEO of the group. "This is why we are doing what we are doing. This is where we start and in a few cases, this is where we end up." The 2017 vintage began with a hot and dry spring followed by warming temperatures in the summer and cooler months of August and September, which resulted in perfect fruit with an intense red color. All grapes except for Alicante Bouschet were trodden on large granite lagares to produce juice that was rich in color, flavor, and finesse.

The final blend was made in May 2019 and bottled in July 2019. The tradition of delaying release gives buyers the opportunity to age their bottles longer under perfect cellar conditions before consumption. The result is a wine that stands out for its characteristics, refinement, aromatic complexity, subtlety, and density - truly worth waiting for!
