在结业式上,欧吉宁表示:“Italy's wine-making history and culture are rich, with abundant natural resources and diverse grape varieties. Our wines are known for their unique character and quality. Wine has become an integral part of Italian culture, and there are many similarities between Chinese and Italian cultures in their appreciation of a good life.”
Bruno thanked the professional people in the wine industry in North China for their special support during the epidemic. He said: “Although we cannot travel to Italy this year due to the epidemic, through this course, everyone can still feel the unique charm of Italy. The diversity of Italian wines can adapt to the grandeur and richness of Chinese cuisine. I hope that while learning about wine, everyone can also deepen their understanding of Italian culture. Through this doorway of wine, let everyone discover the wonders of this country.”
Since 2016, this course has been successfully held in 16 cities across China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Xi'an, Nanning, Changsha Wuhan Tianjin Qingdao Wenzhou Zhengzhou etc., with over 1000 students becoming "Italian Wine Ambassadors" who have a strong influence on more than 4 million consumers.
During his interview at ITA Beijing office chief representative Bruno Gianpaolo Bruno spoke about his experience as an ambassador promoting Italian products in China since September last year.
Regarding whether there were any notable achievements or effective work done by ITA during these challenging times he mentioned: "From September onwards we organized 'I love Italian Wine' courses in six cities - Shanghai Xiamen Chengdu Shenyang Chongqing Beijing - each city had around 60-65 'ambassadors'. These courses typically run over two-and-a-half days where you can taste over 50 plus wines from Italy's sixteen to seventeen main regions."
He also added that: "Chinese people don't yet fully understand how much depth is hidden beneath our wine industry chain; sustainable development principles; unique multiple environments... This is something we Italians take pride in."
