With over 20 years of experience in regional and national wine and spirits distribution, Mauldin comes from Miller Family Wine Company, where he served as Western Regional Sales Manager before its acquisition by Southern Glazers.
Mauldin's career has been marked by his expertise in building relationships with key accounts and driving growth through strategic partnerships. His appointment at CRU Winery marks a significant milestone in the company's expansion plans for the West Coast market.
Meanwhile, Quilceda Creek Vineyard has announced the appointment of Richard Schumaker as their new Assistant Winemaker. Schumaker joins forces with Paul Golitzin and winemaker Mark McNeilly to craft exceptional wines that have earned Quilceda Creek its reputation as one of Washington State's premier wineries.
Before joining Quilceda Creek, Schumaker honed his skills at Dierberg & Star Lane Vineyard. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Engineering from Washington State University. Early in his career, he focused on research into peppermint genomes but found laboratory work unsuitable for him.
In 2019, he graduated from UC Davis' Viticulture & Enology program with a Master's degree. Now at Quilceda Creek Vineyard, Schumaker is poised to contribute his unique blend of scientific knowledge and passion for fine wine to further elevate the winery's offerings.
At Peter Michael Winery located in Sonoma County's Knights Valley region), Lindsey Stowe has been promoted to General Manager after serving since 2018 as Controller. Stowe was previously Chief Financial Officer (CFO) from 2020 onwards under her tenure at Peter Michael Winery.
Stowe succeeds Stuart Bockman who had been with the company for more than 15 years.
