全球免税渠道大商DFS集团采购部总裁:80%客户来自中国内地传世佳酿品鉴会首次登陆中国

不久前,“传世佳酿”活动在澳门成功举办,250多名来自中国内地和澳门的收藏家、意见领袖参加了系列品鉴和拍卖活动。作为活动主办方——全球免税渠道大商DFS集团采购部总裁Christophe Marque先生向WBO透露了他的感受。

WBO:在第十届“传世佳酿”周年时首次选择澳门作为举办地,是否标志着未来这一年DFS将更多瞄准中国市场?有什么未来的计划可以透露给消费者的吗?

Christophe Marque:对我们来说中国是很重要的市场。我们比其他的国际运营商更了解中国客户,目前我们80%以上的客户都来自中国内地。同时全球范围内,DFS也是在中国之外拥有最多中国客户的奢侈品旅游零售商。

China Macau is one of our favorite regions, and we look forward to opening more stores in the near future to expand our coverage. We are committed to providing unparalleled luxury goods and luxurious experiences for our customers in Macau, just like they expect and experience in any other world-class tourist destination. Additionally, as our customers' interest and understanding of wine and spirits continue to grow more refined and high-end, the "Transcendent Tasting" series of events has chosen to debut in China's Macau for the first time to meet the increasingly growing demand from our precious Chinese Mainland clients.

WBO: Can you introduce us to DFS's current market performance in mainland China? Especially regarding wine and spirits? How many stores do we have there now? Is sales revenue performing well?

Christophe Marque: The Chinese consumer market is a new trendsetter, with consumers being among the most mature worldwide. Our consumers are particularly sensitive to online information about international brands and trends. Delving into the field of wine and spirits, we observe that many high-end connoisseurs among Chinese clients are fond of rare vintages but also very knowledgeable about them. At the same time, there are a large number of new customers eager both to learn about these products as well as gradually cultivate their appreciation.

Apart from seven stores on Macau Island where “Transcendent Tasting” debuted this year by way of product launch event at DFS Galleria Senado Square; DFS partnered with Shenzhen Duty Free Shop (SDFS) at Coastal Rose Garden Shopping Mall which opened its 20th store globally – an area spanning 20 thousand square meters.

Through hosting "Transcendent Tasting" for its inaugural event on Macau Island, we hope it will provide guests with an opportunity exploring exquisite wines & spirit offerings from around globe such as champagne while enjoying exclusive experiences tailored specifically designed by experts at each location.
