记得那一年，我在网上看到了一个广告，claimed to be a renowned Feng Shui master. He promised that he could bring prosperity and good fortune to my life by rearranging the furniture in my apartment. I was desperate for a change, so I decided to give him a try.
He came to my place, took one look around and started giving me advice on where to put my bed, desk and TV. He told me that the bagua map of my home was all wrong and that I needed to make some serious changes if I wanted any luck in love or career.
I followed his instructions blindly, moving things around according to his guidance. But after a few weeks, nothing seemed to have changed. In fact, things got even worse - I lost my job and had a string of failed dates.
It wasn't until then that I realized the truth: he was just another fake Feng Shui master who only cared about making money from gullible people like me. The whole thing left me feeling scammed and disappointed.
Nowadays, when someone tells you they're an expert in Feng Shui or any other form of divination, it's important not do what I did - don't believe everything you hear without doing your own research first!
