“当我开始时，我想成为保护纳帕谷一部分子孙后代。我对环境承诺是我的大学期间很少见于其他任何一个波浪海岸地区的地方,” Cyrot说：“I worked at CADE for 10 years because there's one thing I've never experienced before: a quality commitment. We won't be stingy about important things. From how we plant the vineyard to how we make the wine, we are always committed to making the best wines. The stakes are high, expectations are high, but that's what makes being a winemaker challenging and rewarding.”
Ten years later, Jeff Owens continues to guide the style of Odette’s Cabernet Sauvignon from its 2012 debut with a perfect score of 100 points. He believes these wines stand out due to their unique terroir and hardworking individuals who put in diligent effort at every stage (from planting vineyards to determining the final blend) of production.
2021 saw Owens officially launch a new wine brand called "Adapt" as an extension of Odette and providing a seamless entry point for Odette wines and more broadly for PlumpJack Series.
"This Adapt version is the perfect way to celebrate ten years," Owen said. "The name itself—Adapt—is so symbolic; it makes me feel proud of what I've done here." It goes beyond bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon – it represents PlumpJack Wine Company's long-proven ability to stay ahead on every curve. Whether it's bottling 100-point sustainable screw cap reds or building California State First LEED Gold-certified winery at Estate CADE, PlumpJack team doesn't shy away from being first adapters; he feels proud to be part of them.
