The course will end with a short exam, and all those who pass will receive a certificate suitable for framing.

The program is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the unique qualities that make Petaluma Gap AVA wines stand out, and how to effectively communicate these characteristics to customers. "I am thrilled to be partnering with the Petaluma Gap Winegrowers Alliance to continue bringing comprehensive wine education to our community," said Julie Rothberg, founder of Odyssey Wine Academy. "Obtaining this certification is crucial for wine and hospitality professionals seeking to understand what makes this AVA so special and convey it confidently."

The 90-minute courses will be held on June 30th, July 22nd, August 26th, September 24th, October 23rd, November 1st, and December 8th. The cost per participant is $95 dollars; registration can be done online. Class size is limited to fifteen students for interactive discussions.
