We don't add artificial yeast to our fermentation process and we rarely filter or rack the wine, trying to minimize human interference in the fermentation and aging process. Our bottling line, built in 1999, can produce 9,000 bottles per hour with multiple automated machines.
Our wines are bottled using a consistent design for all vineyard-specific wines but different labels distinguish between wines made from grapes purchased from other vineyards and those blended with purchased wine. Among our many excellent wines, Cote-Rotie La Turque is one of the most outstanding. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, it ages for 42 months in new oak barrels. Another highly acclaimed red wine is Cote-Rotie La Mouline which uses grapes from vines averaging 75 years old. The grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks before aging for 42 months in new oak barrels.
