全球免税渠道大商DFS集团采购部总裁:80%客户来自中国内地传世佳酿品鉴会首次登陆中国

不久前,“传世佳酿”活动在澳门成功举办,250多名来自中国内地和澳门的收藏家、意见领袖参加了系列品鉴和拍卖活动。作为活动主办方——全球免税渠道大商DFS集团采购部总裁Christophe Marque先生向WBO透露了他的感受。

WBO:在第十届“传世佳酿”周年时首次选择澳门作为举办地,是否标志着未来这一年DFS将更多瞄准中国市场?有什么未来的计划可以透露给消费者的吗?

Christophe Marque:对我们来说中国是很重要的市场。我们比其他的国际运营商更了解中国客户,目前我们80%以上的客户都来自中国内地。同时全球范围内,DFS也是在中国之外拥有最多中国客户的奢侈品旅游零售商。

China Australia is one of our favorite regions, we look forward to opening more exciting stores in the near future to expand our coverage. We are committed to providing unparalleled luxury goods and luxurious experiences for customers in Macau, just like they expect and experience in any other world-class tourist destination. Additionally, as our customers' interest and understanding of wine and spirits continue to grow more sophisticated, the "Transmission Century Wine" tasting series will make its debut in China Macau this year, aiming to meet the growing demand from our precious Chinese mainland clients.

WBO: Can you introduce DFS's current market performance in mainland China, especially in terms of wine and spirits? How many stores are there now? Has sales revenue performed well?

Christophe Marque: The Chinese consumer market is a new trendsetter; Chinese consumers' maturity is among the most advanced worldwide. Our consumers are particularly sensitive to online information; they have a deep understanding of international brands and trends. Delving into the field of wine and spirits, we observe that many high-end connoisseurs among Chinese clients appreciate rare wines with great enthusiasm but also profound understanding. At the same time, we find a large number of new customers eager to learn about exploring and gradually cultivating their interests.

Apart from seven stores on Macau Island where we operate under DFS & C Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton Limited Partnership (hereinafter referred as DFS), we also collaborate with Shenzhen Duty Free Shop Co., Ltd., opening an expansive retail space measuring 20,000 square meters at Shunfeng Ocean World.

Through launching "Transmission Century Wine" tasting event for the first time ever on Macau Island this year, we hope visitors can enjoy an opportunity for exploration or experiencing exquisite selection of fine wines from around world including champagne.

Based on these points Christophe Marque expressed his expectations towards future development:

As part of increasing presence within Asia region.

Expansion plans across various locations such as Hong Kong.

Building long term relationships with local communities through cultural events & exhibitions.

Offering exclusive services tailored specifically catering needs unique preferences.

His vision revolves around creating seamless customer journey by offering personalized experiences through technology integration while maintaining human touch which he believes would be key factors driving growth along side commitment towards sustainability goals set forth by company itself.

In conclusion when asked about what sets apart DFS from others he mentioned it was their ability adapt quickly changing landscape globally coupled with strong brand portfolio combined together ensuring continued success story unfolding years ahead.
