Tasting Notes: The first aromas that float to my nose are oak - silver oak more pronounced because they use a mix of new and old barrels. Once cleared through some aeration, blackberry, black currant and roasted coffee notes become the forefront flavors. On the palate these are supported by structured tannins and lively acidity.

Warm spices like cinnamon and tobacco unfurl in complex layering on the finish.

With its concentrated dark fruit and well-defined core this is approachable but worth aging.
