朱简从炒股到品酒大师36位历史名人的智慧支撑我实现梦想WBO专访

在8月30日,这一天对于中国葡萄酒行业而言无疑是特殊的。英国葡萄酒大师协会正式宣布,来自中国或在中国工作生活的朱简、杜慕康、朱利安通过了世界葡萄酒大师(MW)所有阶段测试。这样,加上此前成为MW的赵凤仪,中国已经有四位大师。最令人兴奋的是,朱简,这位出生于1988年的南京人,在美国读书并实习的小伙子,他成为了世界葡萄酒大师阵营中第一位真正的中国人。

WBO团队第一时间对朱简进行了专访。

WBO: 朱简老师好,恭喜。得知自己获得世界葡萄酒大师,你的第一感受是什么?

朱简:百感交集。当时坐等了一天,已经精神麻木了。等到电话通知时,能感受到的是各种情绪乱窜。

WBO:请问您毕业于哪所学校哪个专业?又在哪里实习?

朱简: UC Davis(加州大学戴维斯分校)的Viticulture and Enology硕士学位,毕业后的实习在美国叫做OPT(Optional Practical Training)。目前在Napa Valley Wine Academy教课,有空回国时还在龙凤美酒顾问教一些课。

WBO:未来准备回中国工作吗?

朱简: 毕业实习结束后,在国内工作的时间肯定会比现在长,但并不会像2010至2015时期一直呆在北京教课。工作地点永远是跟着专业项目走的,要看今后做的学术项目(比如感官科学等方面)在哪里。

WBO:当初您是如何接触到并喜欢上葡萄酒的?

朱简: 大学生期间在中国农业大学上马会勤老师的葡萄wine品鉴课程时产生了一些兴趣,进入龙凤工作时期兴趣越来越浓。就是喜欢各类葡萄wine给我的感官体验和葡萄wine背后的知识。

WBO:什么原因想让您从事葡萄wine讲师这份工作?这份工作带给您什么乐趣?

Zhu Jian has a passion for sharing his knowledge with others, and he enjoys the interaction with people. He believes that education is essential for students to gain useful knowledge about wine.

WBO : 是什么促使您一步步从接触portable wine to become a Master of Wine?

Jian Zhu was inspired by a course on wine appreciation offered by Professor Ma Weikun at China Agricultural University during his undergraduate studies. After joining Longfeng, his interest in wine grew even stronger. He enjoys the sensory experiences provided by different types of wines and the knowledge behind them.

WBO : How did you overcome the challenges you faced while studying for your MW exam?

Zhu Jian said that he studied continuously, sought advice from experts around the world, and trained intensively every week. The training included simulated exams in which he had to identify 12 wines correctly within one hour.

WBO : What role did Zhao Fengyi play in your career?

Zhao Fengyi encouraged Zhu Jian to pursue a career as a wine educator after he joined Longfeng. She provided him with valuable experience and opportunities to learn about wine.

WBO : What do you think are some common misconceptions about Chinese people when it comes to their understanding of portables winery industry?

Zhu Jian pointed out that there is often an assumption that Chinese people only focus on product knowledge when it comes to their understanding of portable winery industry. However, this is not necessarily true as many individuals are interested in learning more than just product information.
